I write books and some times I even publish them. Why is it that we don't have a gentleman publisher here? or at least an "almost reasonable" one. Has it anything to do with the lack of education?I don't know. I now remembered that I did know a gentleman publisher and I'm really sorry to say that he is not with us any more, we went along very well for some time, but that one was an exception really just to make us better understand the rule in this case; and believe me I know quite a few publishers and the really funny thing is that they all apparently like to publish all my works! But in more than 15 years, after that gentleman Mr. Reza Elmi, I havent met even one even slightly like him. He was from the old school I guess, from that generetion who coulden't sink lower than a certain level. It became "more about them" instead of "more about me" unfortunately!

Sorry for my typo. I was trying to say that I am your biggest fan. I think I would like to blame my keyboard for that mistake or babrikhan for distraction. Any way I am living in Los Angeles and I have been looking for your books all over the place and couldn't find them. Actually I found one "Sargozasht peer hoseyn e khorasany" in a garage sale here in woodland hills. The Iraninan guy sold the book for 50 cents and was very happy. "SHIRAZIA MIGAN KACHI BAZE HICHI". What I am trying to say is that although being an Assyrian (with all the issues they have that you know it better) I love Farsi and you are on my list of favorate authors.

[Rooznameyeh khaateraateh... Saltaneh] is the name of that book which is supposed to be published again from almost three years ago! The so called publisher has paid me full in advance but hasn't done anything yet, I don't know why and I never ask him about that, I even don't know if he is alive, no kidding; and you'll know why if you read what's written in my blog at the right hand side. I'm publishing my own work for the time being. has published one a few months ago: [Ilkhaanaaneh Iran] the Ilkhaans of Iran that is. Funny, now I remembered that the book you mentioned first, the one [About Shaahaan], too is in his hands! But I don't think about them now because I have at least five new and better books ready, yes my friend I haven't been idle all these years, been too busy in fact!
That means when I get the hold of the books (new and old), I would be busy for another couple of years.

Hi Farokh, I left Iran when I was just 14 but just before leaving I had a horrible history teacher which "helped" me hate history. I married a none Persian man. What was so embarrassing was that he knew more about the history of Iran than I did. I went back to Iran after 20 years of being away and he stud everyone with his knowledge of Iran and its history. Now we have a 5 year old girl and she knows more of the Egypt and Romans and Chinese tan she knows about Iran. But this is all going to change. I was looking in my friends 'library and came across your book "Darbare shahan , Mogholan va Soltan" my formal Persian reading is not that refine but I have not been able to put this book down since I opened it yesterday I am nearly half way through it. Has this been translated Into English? I have already picked parts of it and have told my daughter and my husband about it. Where can I buy other books written by you?
